Kwara Express dissapoints passengers (Photos)
As earlier as 6:00am on August 25, 2015, hundreds of passengers converged at Kwara State Transport Corporation park, Offa Garage Road, Ilorin, to board buses to various destinations.
However, the passengers were disappointed as they waited for hours without attention.
It was gathered that the drivers are on strike to protest the transfer and later disengagement of a top official who opposed selling off of the corporation. The drivers maintained that they would not go back to work until the man is recalled.
This was not made known to the passengers as the corporation continued selling tickets to new passengers.
Passengers later became sore, broke their silence and demanded for refunds.
Police was later called to calm the situation.
After arguments, monies were refunded and some passengers were provided vehicles outside the corporation.
